Siddurim (prayer books) and tefillot (prayers): the surprising scoop!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Traditional siddurim (prayer books) and tefillot (prayers) have fascinating and little-known histories. Ever wanted to know why a particular prayer is/is not part of your siddur (prayer book)? Who decided and when was it introduced? What about women's contributions? How do the language and content differ between siddurim (plural of siddur) in different regions and why? Having difficulty 'feeling it'? This session will explore these questions and offer tips for deeper connection.
